icoEx has produced a playful interactive to accompany a new exhibition showcasing the changing face of London Luton Airport.

London Luton Airport recently unveiled a new brand identity; the first step in a £100 million transformation programme, borne out of a user focused vision. As part of a semi-permanent launch exhibition, icoEx was invited to create a playful and engaging version of the brand marque as an interactive focal point.

LLA wanted to mark the start of this real commitment to change with a new brand and vision for the future. The new look is part of an ambition to transform LLA into one of the leading airports serving London and the surrounding regions. The redevelopment works will increase capacity to 18 million passengers and transform the airport to engage and appeal to customers on a human level, and be seen as an effortless, enjoyable part of the customer's journey.

For the launch exhibition we identified an opportunity to demonstrate this line of thinking by creating a playable version of the logo. Passengers can select shapes in the brand's colour palette on a touch screen and if three colours are matched they get a visual and audible reward. A super simple engagement that is as effortless and enjoyable as the Airport's vision for the future.
