We created a way to interact with 3D holograms using just simple hand movements.

eCommerce has brought many benefits, but being to actually look at the details of a physical product is still a challenge. We were looking at ways that we could give digital versions of a physical product a more hands-on feel.

The Leap Motion Controller is a small IR device that senses how you naturally move your hands and lets you use your computer in a whole new way. Point, wave, reach, grab. We thought this might offer a better way of interacting with 3D models for things like property, luxury products or even things too small to see if the naked eye.

The final prototype allows the user to swipe between products, zoom in and out and turn the product around by grabbing it and twisting in your hand.
